You will need to attend online 12:30pm - 3:30pm on 16/01/2025 & The Atkins Centre 09:30am - 3:00pm on 29/01/2025
Target Audience:
All staff who are able to set up and run a supervision group
Overview:
Supervision is an accountable process which supports, assures, and develops the knowledge, skills, and values of an individual, group or team; undertaken by suitably trained professionals.
Good supervision can give staff an opportunity to reflect on their practice, explore any worries or concerns they may have about the welfare and development of all children in the setting and contribute towards highly effective practice and increased staff confidence.
We are looking to expand our offer of supervision to groups such as DSLs, SENCOs, ACE Tutors and Wellbeing leads. To support this, we are looking for suitable individuals to be trained to lead regular group supervision sessions.
This 1.5-day course split into a half-day online session and a full-day face-to-face session will give participants the understanding and tools to be able to facilitate regular and effective group supervision to support colleagues who work with our most vulnerable pupils across our #one91×ÊÔ´È«¼¯family.
You must have the opportunity to run supervision groups in your school or region.
